Come Demo Fly!

This is a promotion for pilots seriously interested in a close-knit group of pilots ... And a better flying experience with a Pilot Group Model that is an alternative to "Renting" at a Come one, Come all flight school. Our aircraft is Piper Cherokee 180 at CO4 (Ellicot/Springs East) on the VFR secrionl just east of KCOS and we believe we are a good fit for pilots who fly 40 hours to 75 hours a year.

The group Will Not Exceed 9 or 10 pilots max, this enables better access to schedule the airplane and get flying time. The aircraft is given TLC and is well taken care of, No ripped or torn seats. No broken shattered plastic and the Paint is a very acceptable 8 out of 10. We take care of this bird, which is again, why the pilot group will be limited.

We maintain a low cost business model that minimizing staff salary expenses, which would otherwise increase the aircraft rental cost. We bill quarterly for most fees. We operate on a "Dry" rate in that you pay for your own fuel and Refuel the airplane after you fly, so that the aircraft is "Always" FULL for the next Pilot.

IMPORTANT; based upon our insurance requirements, all pilots must be a minimum Private Pilot to fully join the group. We have a waiting list and will consider pilots in training on the wait list.

TRAINING; We can perform training for the Instrument Rating, the Commercial Certificate and the CFI Certificate. Independent instructors are welcomed.

Aircraft Usage:
Your fee entitles you to (4) flight hours per month! Due to the small size and staffing of our club, all fees/accounting are billed on a quarterly basis; Except for the hourly rental, After the (4) hr minimum. The below fees includes and covers, your pro-rata share of ...

  • HOURLY BREAKDOWN: (DRY/No Fuel), considers the following ...
  • - Supplies, equipment, support, scheduling software
  • - Engine oil usage
  • - Maintenance Reserve
  • - Capital Cost of Aircraft paid to Club
  • - Dry cost of the airplane (for the minimum 4 hours only); $83 hr x 4 minimum flt hrs = $332
  • Total: $332 per month x 3 months = $996 per qtr

  • Flight Time:
  • - NOTE; Any flight time over 3 hours is BILLED HOURLY at $93 per hour (Dry; you buy your fuel)

  • QUARTERLY FIXED COST BREAKDOWN:
  • These Cost Are Paid Quarterly:
  • - Cooperative Insurance Pool
  • - Maintenance; Annual Inspection
  • - Cooperative Hangar Pool fee (if you are familiar with Colorado, you know that hail damage is real!)
  • Total: for 3 Months = $303 per qtr

  • Combined (Hourly + Fixed) Total Quarterly to be Pre-Paid for 3 Months = $996 + $302 = $1,298

  • The above structure provides a measure of exclusivity to the member group of pilots. We feel this structure will compel limited turn-over of pilots resulting in a more stable group of pilots for the year. We set the cost to be the most competitive up and down the front range. NOTE: we fully intended the hourly increase after the minimum 4 hours to assist in predictability of scheduled maintenance. IT IS CRITICAL TO UNDERSTAND; Any hours not flown by the end of the quarter are forfeited as we do not have the administrative tracking ability or accounting to roll hours forward quarter to quarter.
